We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 8th rankedMS Academy (4-9) was smashed by ninth ranked J.Hradec (4-8) in Jindrichuv Hradec 112-74 on Sunday. J.Hradec dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to MS Academy 's 46. J.Hradec forced 19 MS Academy turnovers and outrebounded them 47-29 including a 19-8 advantage in offensive rebounds. J.Hradec looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by MS Academy 's players. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when J.Hradec made 7 blocks. Marek Zvolanek nailed a double-double by scoring 14 points, 11 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals for the winning side and Kristijonas Strackaitis accounted for 23 points and 6 rebounds. Matyas Vitek came up with 11 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists and Daniel Prchal added 16 points respectively for MS Academy in the defeat. Five J.Hradec and four MS Academy players scored in double figures. MS Academy's coach Patrik Smazak gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. J.Hradec moved-up to eighth place. MS Academy lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the ninth position with nine games lost.
